Books & Teaching Materials
Writing as another way of sharing what the classroom taught you
For Maria Moschos, language has always also been something to build with. Decades in classrooms, in language education and in teacher training have turned into books, teaching materials and digital resources.
Writing is another way of passing things on: turning what happens in a classroom into material that works in someone else's — for teachers, parents and learners.
Everything is organised by level and learning objective, so a learner can work on precisely the skills that will move them forward.
«Perfekt B1 στα Γερμανικά»
BookA German grammar for level B1
A grammar written out of classroom experience: what genuinely trips learners up at B1, which points need more practice than the textbooks allow, and how to sequence the material so each part rests on the last.
Written in Greek, for Greek-speaking learners of German and for the teachers who need structured grammar material they can actually teach from.
B1 learners and teachers of German.
«Hallo, du! 1»
BookA coursebook for the first steps
A coursebook for the earliest stages of German, written around how children actually learn rather than how syllabuses are ordered.
The emphasis is on sound foundations and on everyday communication, with material that keeps a lesson moving.
Children beginning German, and their teachers.
Eduki — classroom resources
DigitalReady-to-use material, from one teacher to another
The work on teaching content continues on digital platforms. The profile The German Hub · Maria Moschos is publicly available on Eduki, with material that can be used directly in class or for independent practice.
Worksheets, grammar and vocabulary exercises, comprehension and production tasks, thematic units and revision material sit alongside the lesson rather than replacing it.
The German Hub digital library
LibraryLearning carries on between lessons
Regular contact with the language is most of what progress is made of. So a separate digital library is being built, with material for learners, parents and teachers.
Dedicated material is also being written for teaching Greek as a heritage language — a field with different demands from teaching children who go to school in Greece.
The educational channel
VideoKnowledge shared openly
The German Hub's educational channel shares content on the German language, on certificates and on learning — open to anyone who finds it useful.
The purpose is the same as with the books and the worksheets: turning classroom experience into material that reaches more people than one room can hold.
Translation of educational texts
TranslationGreek ↔ German, with a teacher's eye
Alongside the writing comes translation of teaching material and other texts, and work as a translator with international media.
Translating an educational text is not only a language job. It requires understanding who it is for and what it is supposed to achieve — which is usually where a literal translation quietly fails.
Classroom experience, turned into something that stays
Books, worksheets, digital files and video. Different forms, one purpose: turning knowledge into something another person can pick up and use — in their classroom, at home, or on their own.
Write. Share. Teach.
